Terms
Short. It's a website about a café.
Updated 18 Aug 2026
There isn't much here to argue about, but a few things are worth writing down — especially the bit about allergens.
The site
This website is run by The Bald Barista, 68 Aungier Street, Dublin 2, D02 XE86, Ireland. Using it means you are fine with what is on this page.
Prices and menus
We keep the menu and the function price list as accurate as we can, but they change. The price on the counter, and the price we quote you in writing, are the ones that count. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell — it is an invitation to come in, or to ask.
Food, allergens and dietary marks
Everything we make is prepared in a kitchen that handles gluten, dairy, nuts, eggs, fish and sesame, so we cannot promise anything is free of traces. Where we mark something vegetarian, vegan or gluten free, we mark only what we are certain of.
If you have an allergy, tell us at the counter or on the form before you order. Please don't rely on this website alone. We would far rather answer the question twice than get it wrong once.
Ordering functions
Nothing on the functions page is a confirmed booking. An order exists once we have confirmed it to you and it has been paid for, and we ask for five days' notice. What we send you when we confirm is the agreement between us.
The shop
The T-shirts are not on sale yet. There is no checkout on this site and no payment is taken here.
What belongs to whom
The photographs, the text, the logo and the design of this site are ours. Read them, quote a line, link to us — all fine. Reproducing the lot, or using our name or logo as if you were us, is not.
Links
We link to Facebook, Instagram and Google Maps. We don't control them and we're not responsible for what's on them.
What we can and cannot promise
We do our best to keep this site up and correct, but we don't promise it will never be down or never be wrong. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law says we cannot limit. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
Law
Irish law applies, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction.
Talk to us first
